WHAT THE CAR?

This is a great casual game that's really fun to play in short bursts, but it can be a bit of a mixed bag. Level structure is very effective and new themes (sports, work, sandstorm, water) keep the player intrigued, as do the various gimmicks on display. Triband's interpretation of 'racing' is very unserious so you'll occasionally find yourself controlling a car with heels, a car that's part helicopter or even a car with shark fins, but if you've got even an inkling of competitive spirit it'll end up being in the pursuit of a coveted gold medal finishing time - which can become very serious - and this is where the difficulty comes in. While most levels in What The Car are very generous with their timed goals, the 'skull' levels up the ante in a way that can initially feel like rage-bait. Need for Speed Most Wanted
