The Witcher Enhanced Edition Director's Cut
Fix the Windows Registry:
Go to the The Witcher Enhanced Edition folder.
Right-click the file The Witcher Enhanced Edition.reg and choose Edit (or open with Notepad).
Look for the line that says:
"InstallFolder"="C:\\GAMES\\The Witcher Enhanced Edition"
Change it to the path where the game is installed on your computer. For example:
"InstallFolder"="G:\\The-Witcher-Enhanced-Edition-AnkerGames\\The Witcher Enhanced Edition"
(Note: Keep the double backslashes \\ between folders.)
Save the file, close it, and double-click it to add the information to the Windows Registry.
Install Dependencies (Essential):
Inside the game folder, go to the directx folder and run DXSETUP.exe.
Then go to the vcredist folder and install vcredist_x86.exe (even if your Windows is 64-bit, the game requires the x86 version).
Run the Game:
Do not use launcher.exe.
Go to the System folder.
Run the file witcher.exe (it may appear as “witcher application”).
It’s recommended to right-click it and select Run as Administrator.
